Episode #171: So Help Me Baby
Another entry on the Star Time bucket list (now available in pamphlet form) was a show entirely devoted to Southern soul, which this episode pretty much is. There are some quick trips to the North, but to be frank we didn't even get out of the car. This episode also owes big thanks to one of the web's great R&B research resources: Sir Shambling's Deep Soul Heaven, which I have used for years with utter confidence.
