Episode #33: Standing on the Verge of Getting It On

From time to time I am asked, if at all possible and given favorable conditions, to make someone's funk the P-Funk. This request usually springs from a common desire to "get funked up." Furthermore, those making this request express that they "want my funk uncut"; still others request "the bomb," which in this case is thankfully only a metaphor for a particularly potent strain of P-Funk. So during the second hour of this episode, we present music from the P-Funk Axis -- Parliament and Funkadelic, and musicians who played for either or both groups. In the first hour we offer a menu of appetizers, served family-style. Also: I messed with the theme music.
